Prospecting strangers isn’t worth the hassle (time, energy, sweat, blood, tears and not to mention the headaches). Prospecting these types of people for your business Will take a lot out of you. (Just thinking about it, makes me cringe). Facing rejection from the wrong kinds of people is one of the main “killers” for many new home business owners. Don’t let it happen to you, or anyone in your organization. Don’t prospect strangers.
If you feel like you don’t really know how to push that red hot button, I can tell you that it doesn’t take much more than a little digging. You probably won’t have to dig to deep either. You simply have to think about how you feel. In other words you have to dig within yourself.
An “opportunity” that really isn’t is no opportunity at all! So make sure your “once in a lifetime” opportunity lives up to its description before you join. You want to be certain that every window to become successful is wide open for you.
Someday, you are going to realize that all that money your regular job pays you may not really be enough. Not enough to pay for the medical expenses to treat your ailments or other medical conditions to resuscitate you week after week of grueling in your dead end job. Not enough to buy you the freedom to spend quality time with your family and no work-life balance. Not enough to achieve your dreams and feel really happy in life. Hopefully this day will come sooner. You really ought to know that at some point in your life you must, at any cost – Fire your boss! and begin to take charge of your own life. Yes, you have to!
Aim for “easier” jobs to begin with, like outbound telemarketing. Most of the ads I see for those jobs don’t require experience, they will teach you everything you need to know. Granted, these are usually commission-based jobs, but sometimes they do offer a small salary too. If anything, you could work this job for a few months to get experience, and then apply for other jobs later.
We may have missed the WalMart and Microsoft “boats”, but it’s not too late for our “ship” to come in through another business opportunity if we know how to recognize it when we see it!
